With me taking a sudden jump into the Blogosphere the
question now presents itself, should I get anything from what I do?
Is it worth asking for donations?
On the downside it leads to increased pressure to provide
new contents, but the money could be ploughed back into the game. Maybe stock
art or even just to renew my RAGS licence. Oh and I’d never ever ask for money
for a game, it’s always going to be purely voluntary.
So any thoughts, comments?
Depends. I'm not sure how things like Paypal work, but if it's free to set up a donation button I'm not sure how it would hurt? Since it would be strictly donations and not pay to play I don't think it would put anyone off from helping. Just a thought on it.
